Present at NCSexCon
NCSexCon is an interdisciplinary conference that brings together professionals and students in the fields of clinical care, advocacy, education, social services, and research to share best practices and practical applications for the improvement of sexual health across the lifespan.
The call for proposals for the 2023 conference is open through March 1, 2023 at 11:59 pm ET.
Professionals and students are invited to submit a proposal for a conference workshop. To help plan your proposal, we have made a template available.

For 2023, the conference theme is
“The Remix: REenvisioning. REimagining. REnewing Sexuality"
FACILITATOR DETAILS AND NEED-TO-KNOWS
Discount Registrations:
Upon proposal acceptance, we will provide a discounted conference registration for up to *two presenters* as compensation for your expertise and time. Each presenter MUST register for the conference at the discounted rate of $250.00.
Travel:
NC SEXCON will not be responsible for reimbursement for travel expenses to attend the conference. All participants and workshop presenters are responsible for their lodging.
Session Information:
- All workshop sessions will be between 75-90 minutes in length.
- Workshops are limited to two presenters.
- All rooms will be pre-set with tables and chairs. You may move as needed, however, the room must be returned to its pre-set condition before the arrival of the next presenter.
- NC SEXCON will provide a screen and projector for each session as needed.
- Flip charts, markers, handouts, and other presentation materials are the responsibility of EACH presenter.
Review Process:
Upon receipt of an application package, the conference planning committee will review it for completeness, topic relevance, and alignment with the conference theme. You will receive notification of your proposal’s status via e-mail tentatively by March 15, 2023.
